When your child fails publicly

Ephesians 6:4

Parents should raise children in the instruction of the Lord without provoking them.

When your child fails publicly. Nobody puts that on a vision board, but people live it every day. Before you react, ask what this moment is trying to make you believe. Old patterns survive because they move quickly, before truth gets a chance to speak. Your child is deeply loved by you, but belongs to God before they belong to your expectations. Jesus Christ can lead where your control cannot reach. You do not need a dramatic feeling today. You need enough truth to refuse the old script one more time.

Jesus Christ, show me what is true in this situation and expose the story I have added to it. Give me wisdom for my part, courage to obey You, and enough trust to leave the outcome in Your hands. Amen.
